Yoga Props - Yoga Mat

Yoga mats should be non-slip.
There is a huge range of yoga
mats on the market: different colours, some with patterns,
or other design elements, and some which are eco friendly.
Prices of yoga mats can vary
a fair bit too, so it pays to shops around for yoga mat bargains.
Yoga mats come in various sizes,
so decide which suits you best. It's a good idea to use mats
provided by a yoga school for a while before you buy - that
way you can try out different sizes.
Some yoga schools always provide
yoga mats, so you may feel that you don't want to incure the
expense of buying you own yoga mat. On the other hand, you'll
want to practice at home so having your own yoga mat will
speed your progress.
A good tip for optimising your
alignment is to draw a line right
down the middle of your mat, down
the full length.
