Sundeep Sitara Yoga belts are also known
as yoga straps. Yoga belts are used to increase the effectiveness
of various yoga postures. For example, while practising Paschimottanasana
(intense back stretch), if you are unable to reach your feet,
you can place a yoga belt around your feet when your legs
are stretched out in front of you and pull the yoga belt towards
you to bring your head to your knees and enhance the stretch.
Yoga belts can also help prevent
muscle or joint strain because they will give you the required
tension without you straining to achieve it. Yoga belts will
help you achieve tension whilst remaining relaxed, which will
allow you to concentrate on your breathing.
For some seated and standing
yoga poses you can use two yoga belts at a time - so think
about buying two yoga belts.
